Enjoy sightseeing in Kuroshio Town!
"Kuroshio Town Tourism Network" is an organization in which various industries such as products, food and beverage, accommodation, transportation, and planning are registered as members, including tourism-related businesses that excite the sightseeing of Kuroshio Town together. It started as a voluntary organization in 2014 and restarted as a general incorporated association Kuroshio Town Tourism Network in September 2020.
We perform the role of connecting tourist operators and tourists in the town (consultation and arrangement of trips, attendance, etc.), disseminating information using SNS and websites, discovering and creating new tourism materials and programs. This is a wide range of activities that expand the possibilities of “tourism” with everyone’s ideas.
Especially now, we are focusing on “Disaster Prevention Tourism”. As a “manners” living in a land rich in nature, this program conveys the disaster prevention culture of Machi, where you can properly understand the dual nature of “bounty and disaster” and learn how to interact well with each other. Number of recipients also holds many researchers, university seminars, school excursion students, etc.
As a tourism community development corporation (regional DMO), we aim to create sustainable tourism destinations while promoting the local culture and tourism industry while building a new form of tourism in Kuroshio Town. We are looking for members who agree with the purpose and can join.
