Mt. Iizumi, a famous cherry blossom spot

Mt. Iizumi is located about 1 km west of Tanoura Fishing Port. Iizumi-ji Temple is at the top of it.
It has long been called "Kannon-san" and has been popular.
As the name suggests, Mt. Iizumi (217m above sea level) is a round-shaped mountain with rice piled up. From the rest area at the 8th station, you can see Shimanto River in the west and Cape in the east.
Cherry blossoms bloom beautifully in spring, and it is also known as a cherry blossom viewing spot.
