Kuroshio Town Tourism Network acquired the Japan Tourism Agency's "Japan Sustainable Tourism Standard for Destinations" logo on February 6, 2025.

 JSTS-D refers to the "Japan Version Sustainable Tourism Guideline" (JSTS-D) that complies with international standards for local governments and DMOs (Tourism Community Development Corporations) to create sustainable tourism.
