Sightseeing Spots

Sightseeing Spots selected in the mid-Showa period

Hata Tenkei was selected by readers' vote sponsored by Kochi Shimbun and was published in the Kochi Shimbun-sha paper published on November 16, 1953.
The Irino Coast and Kashimagaura were selected from Kuroshio Town, and the Irino Coast was designated as a national scenic spot along with Irino Matsubara in 1928, and in 1996 it was selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches in commemoration of the establishment of Sea Day.
On this coast, the phenomenon of "mizukagami" is prone to occur, and even beginners can easily "shown" photography.
Kashimagaura has been popular as scenic spot since early on, and Kashima and Itsukushima exist opposite the entrance of the port. The primeval forest of Kashima is a natural monument in Kuroshio-cho, and is designated as a "Kashima Natural Environment Conservation Area" in Kochi Prefecture.
